Intensive Driving Course

At Locations Driving School, we understand that some learners are eager to get on the road quickly.

Our intensive driving courses are designed to help you achieve your driving goals efficiently and effectively. Discover why our intensive courses could be the perfect fit for your learning journey.

  • Can I train to be a Driving Instructor while working full-time?
    Yes, you can complete Part 1 of your training at home with support from our team. The intensive training course requires only 9 days. Part 2 training involves 10 hours over 2 days, and Part 3 training spans 7 days. Flexible options are available for in-car sessions.
  • Do I need to provide my own vehicle for training?
    No, you do not need to provide your own vehicle. Training sessions are conducted in our market-leading Volkswagen tuition vehicles. You may choose to use your own car or rent one for Part 2/3 exams, or use one of our vehicles if you’re on our PDI Trainee Licence.
  • Are there any hidden costs for my training?
    There are no hidden costs. All payments are for your training only. DVSA fees for PDI and ADI licenses are separate. Current costs for tests and licenses are detailed in our Driving Instructor Training Information Pack.
  • What is required to start training?
    To begin, you must: Hold a full UK driving licence for 3+ years Have 5 points or fewer on your licence Be able to read a number plate from 90 feet away (glasses/contact lenses allowed) Pass a DBS check with the UK Government Register as a PDI and obtain a Personal Reference Number (PRN)

What We Do...

A Locations Driving School instructor will guide you through your initial driving lesson. Learning to drive can be a daunting experience for any new driver, especially the first time behind the wheel. Our instructors will familiarise you with all the car's controls and how to begin driving.

Pass Plus driving lessons offer an excellent opportunity to enhance your driving skills beyond merely passing your test. A Pass Plus course will build your confidence by teaching you to drive on a variety of roads that you may not have encountered before passing your test.
